WHAT IS GREEN ENERGY? And Its Types

Green energy is a modern source of efficiency that is generated using natural resources like sunlight, water, and wind. The atmosphere is supportive of green energy, as it plays a key role in the environment's generation and helps humankind well. These are the energies that are used less in the present but the consumption of Solar Energy is increasing at a rapid rate and thus they are the fuels of the future.

WHAT IS GREEN ENERGY? And Its Types

How is Working this types of Energies?

Green energy comes with renewable energies that are coming from solar panels, wind power, geothermal energy, biomass and hydroelectric power. The technologies used in the production of the green energies are not harmful to nature, which makes it a safe choice to go for the engineers.

Why are these Energies Important?

One of the main reasons for the benefit of these types of energies is, they are a part of the global scene. It’s mandatory for a resource to not produce pollution if it wants to be green energy like fossil fuels. Not all the sources utilized in the energy industry are green, like the power generator that consumes organic material from sustainable forests to produce electricity. However, it’s not a green one because of the CO2 produced by the burning process. Energy sources are fossil fuels like natural gas or coal that take a lot of years to develop so they are produced less in numbers as compared to the natural way of electricity production. It’s also seen that the green sources mining is also avoided and that won’t be a profitable step for the ecosystem.

*Types of Green Energies*

There are various sources of green energies and these are explained below:

1.Solar Energy

It’s a type of commonly used green energy that is made with the help of photovoltaic cells that are used to take in the sunlight and convert it into electricity. The device that is used to get solar energy is known as a solar power system. The benefit of solar power is the heating of the buildings in the winters when the outside temperature is not bearable, utilization in the hot water consumption for a bath, utilization of running the electrical equipment like cooking induction, fans, lights and more. It was costly in the past, but recently in the past few years; it has become affordable to the public.

2.Wind Energy

It’s a type of energy that is also in buzz to generate electricity. This energy can be obtained when the wind flow is taken by a device and used to create electrical energy. The basic concept of this energy involves the conversion of the kinetic energy available in the wind into mechanical power. Mechanical power can either be operated to pump the water pipes or to create electricity that will be used in day-to-day lives.

3.Hydro Energy

This form of energy is created when the flow of water from the streams, rivers, and dams is used to create electrical energy. You can use the hydropower at a small scale too, but for that, use the water from the water taps installed in kitchens using a pressure pipe in it.

4.Biofuels

A fuel that is made with animal waste, algae material or by a plant comes under the Biofuel and it’s a dominant form of renewable energy. These materials can be converted into fuel known as ethanol and biodiesel. Biofuels are the future fuel for transportation and can be used by over twenty-five percent people in the world by 2050
